Formaum is a single-operator engineering studio owned by Genevieve Claire. This policy describes what data Formaum collects, why, and how it's handled.
Who we are
Formaum builds bespoke AI automation and CRM migration systems for multi-location businesses. Contact: book a call or message on LinkedIn.
What we collect from website visitors
The marketing site at formaum.com is informational. We do not require accounts and do not sell or share visitor data. Netlify, our host, records standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate site traffic — no personally identifying profiling.
If you contact us via email or a form, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and reference our prior conversations.
Internal tools and integrations
Formaum operates internal tools — including a finance dashboard that reads our own bookkeeping data from QuickBooks Online — to run the business. These tools are private, accessed only by Formaum, and not exposed to clients or website visitors.
For the QuickBooks Online integration: tokens are stored encrypted and used only to read invoice and payment data for internal financial reporting. No data is shared with third parties.
Client engagements
When working with a client, Formaum may receive access to that client's systems (CRMs, email accounts, scheduling tools, etc.) for the duration of the engagement. Handling of that data is governed by the engagement agreement signed with each client, not this policy. Client data is never used outside the scope of the engagement and is deleted from Formaum's systems on request.
Cookies
This site uses Google Analytics for aggregate visitor analytics. Functional cookies may be set by Netlify for security or session continuity.
Data retention
Server logs are retained per Netlify's retention policy (typically 30 days). Email correspondence is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion. Internal business records (invoices, contracts) are retained per Canadian tax law requirements (6 years).
Your rights
If you've corresponded with Formaum and want a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your information, reach out via cal.com/formaum/45 or LinkedIn. We respond within 30 days.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the change. Material changes will be flagged in the next email correspondence with active clients.
